Someday, Court, they’ll get it together around here. Until then, I guess we just struggle along trying to understand each other.
You don’t have to convince me of the Muslim threat, I can see that we have allowed a very violent and fascist mentallity to dominate the Muslim world for quite some time now, and it seems only their defeat will keep us from suffering greatly at their hands.
However, you should also realize that what we see in Islam is what many non-Christians saw in the Church of England, the Vatican, and so on. No doubt man has been dominated by those who professed to know god and what god wants man to be. To a non-believer, your god is no better than any other god, and to a believer, any other god is, when you get right down to it, an enemy to their god. And the believers are by extension their enemies.
Religion has, for the most part, been put in its place by the Constitution of the U.S., even the religious see its importance and necessity. Islam is a fascist state guided by the religion, and clearly our greatest threat. I too do not understand our hesitance in declaring it the threat that it is, and isolating it as we would communist and socialist nations.
Whereas the other religions of the world have suffered defeat, and survived without the power to control governments, Islam has been defeated in wars but never relinquished its hold on the laws and policies of government. Defeat is only a momentary setback, until Allah favors them with victory. That may make their total destruction inevitable. Regrettable, but necessary.
Without seperation of the church from the state, Islam will always have the ability to rise again to threaten the world. With seperation, I believe the more peaceful nature of man will succeed in guiding the religion. I’d like for them to choose to survive, but right now, they only preach destruction, and their destruction may be the only way to achieve that seperation. I can live with either solution.
That day is coming very soon….September…The summer behind the scenes has been well-spent. May I please have a day off now? :) Thanks for your patience….and loyalty. Court too!

I tried to offset my remarks from those of Spencer’s with a colon and a paragraph. Next time I’ll add quotes and hit the ‘enter’ two or three times.
