Littlegreenfootballs.com is a site which has been referred to as a hate site. That just tells you how effective they are. Their sources are excellent. I have not, in the three years I’ve been following, seen one retraction of anything Charles Johnson, the site founder and owner, has had to make. He always holds back until he knows he’s got good info. His focus is Islamist issues but he covers everything from immigration to local elections. It is almost IMPOSSIBLE to become a “lizard” (a member) because he only opens registration at unpredictable times to help keep trolls out. At the first sign of trollism you’re out of there. His analysis and writing style make this my favorite site.
I forgot to mention that it was his site and powerline.com that brought down Dan Rather with the now-famous “memogate” affair. rather and CBS tried to claim that bush was awol from his servce duty and powerline.com noticed the flaw in the “letter” that supposedly implicated Bush as a deserter. The falsifiers didn’t realize when they were forging the document, they used a font that was only found in computers that wasn’t available on computers when Bush was serving. The powerline and lgf guys nailed them.

I was wondering why I couldn’t ever get registered. That is why I don’t really go their anymore. I like to throw my two cents in once in a while.
