E. W. Helmick is a six-time award winning screenwriter, chef, illusionist, husband, and father of five children. Through his vision to "dream big," his family has served on the mission field in 4 countries to include, Guatemala, India, Australia, China, and Hong Kong. His kids follow his passion for life in their own pursuit of training animals for the motion pictures, acting, falconry, cooking, illusions, and film making. His favorite past time is to surround himself with friends while he recounts the incredible lives of the characters in his stories and then challenge his listeners to find their own passion in life. He believes "a man is nothing without a passion." He enjoys dark beer, a long draw on a rich aromatic cigar, driving his snow cat, and getting lost in the woods with his children while on hiking adventures high in the Colorado mountains where he lives and writes at an elevation of 10,000 feet. His daily video broadcast, Act America was created because he was tired of complaining and decided to do something proactive to make positive change.
