May G-d bless them and protect them always. I don’t want them to be there in harm’s way but it ain’t up to me… and those women wouldn’t have it any other way anyway. May the Lord keep them and watch over them.

I find it intersting that the three of us that chose to weigh in feel exactly the same way: don’t really want this but if they’re going to go for it, support them and wish them the very best. No criticism, just a bit of anxiousness couple with a prayer. Not bad for a bunch of knuckle-dragging, mysoginistic lock-steppers.

Make our military a less effective force, but then again a president that will not allow them to fight does the same thing…..Why are we letting our troops get killed while trying to win the “hearts and minds”....Win the war first then go after the hearts and minds….

Women have a place in the armed services but not in combat arms or direct combat support MOS. My son is a paratrooper in Iraq right now. I dicourage my daughters from joining because they belong at home raising their own kids, the boys to be soldiers and the girls to be wives and mothers. It is the natural order of things.

There’s not a single thing in your videos that wasn’t expressed in some form in the American Revolution, Civil War, WWI, WWII etc etc. So your point, I assume, is that the more things change the more they stay the same. From what I have seen and read about our military, America will have a pool of super great leaders from this experience.
They are so incredibly brave and strong, they have been in such diverse aspects of a developing society, I am very optimistic about our future. God bless them.

Women being in previous wars was a bad and plain stupid idea. But now war is asymmetrical. Every human being is a target- whether by islams genocidal terrorism or by nuke’s. We are all soldiers. In this war, women and children will eventually fight whether they want to or not. I don’t like women being in battle- mainly because they are simply weaker than a male enemy- but the world is going to hell. Israel has no choice now, and shortly neither will we. And honestly, it’s just the next step. Women haven’t been able to cook for the last 20 years. They think having children serves no purpose but to ruin their own selfish lives. Thanks women’s Lib. That has always been the truth.  When a woman decides to go into war the male doesn't want her there for fear of her safety       Unfortunately she is never really safe in the Rear Area. Women have shown that they can do what they has been trained to do when under fire on the Front Lines.  Let's face it the Rear Area is no longer available because with the War with Terrorist the Front Line is where ever they chose to attack.
